OU’s College of Arts and Sciences Establishes Multicultural Center

With a focus on supporting and fostering success for University of Oklahoma students presently and in life beyond college, a Multicultural Center for the Advancement of Students has been formed in the College of Arts and Sciences.

With details to be unveiled in multiple stages, the primary goal of the center is to ensure that all students in the college thrive.

“We are excited about developing this new center and having greater opportunities for connections with students, faculty and staff,” said Paola Lopez, director of student development and community. “Our goal is to provide opportunities for members of our campus community to engage with each other toward inclusive excellence, which we honor at OU.”

The Multicultural Center, which will be located in Ellison Hall, will provide a variety of academic support services, career readiness, awareness and learning opportunities by collaborating with student groups within the college and across campus to enhance the educational experiences of students.

The Multicultural Center may be followed on the social media platforms: Twitter (@OUMCAS), Facebook (OU MCAS) and Instagram (OU MCAS).
