The College of Arts and Sciences provides funding of up to one-third of the cost for travel to a professional meeting to present research results.

Eligibility:
All regular full-time faculty, (as defined in the Faculty Handbook section 3.1.1.) are eligible to apply.
Deadlines:
Request for funds from this program may be made anytime, however they must be submitted and approved prior to the travel dates and are subject to the availability of funds.
Application Procedures:
- Complete the Faculty Matching 1/3 Travel Grant Form.
- A request should be simultaneously submitted directly to the Vice President for Research (VPR) for a similar match in the format specified on the VPR webpage for the Faculty Travel Assistance Grants Program.
The 1/3 split is between the College of Arts & Science (A&S), the Department and the VPR's office. For split faculty appointments the break down is: 1/3 from the VPR, 1/6 from the Department, 1/6 from School of International Area Studies, 1/6 from International Programs Center & 1/6 from A&S. Reimbursement of funds are available to the Department for six months after the completion of travel dates.
If additional travel funding is being requested from the College, the request should be submitted through the college's Faculty Enrichment Grant Program. A faculty member may receive either a Faculty Enrichment Grant or a Faculty Matching 1/3 Travel Grant but not both for the same travel-related activity.
