Misha Nedeljkovich, Professor Film and Media Studies Ph.D.

U.C.L.A., film and television M.F.A.; Tokyo University, Communication Studies Shimbunken Kenkysei; Ohio University, School of Telecommunications Ph.D.; Professor, Film & Media Studies. Professional directing experience with TV Belgrade, CBS, Los Angeles; Japan Cable Television; and National Theater, Belgrade. Documentary film director-official selection, 1985, International Festival, Monte Carlo, France. Received Fulbright grants in 1983, 2003 and in 2010; received Mombusho, Japanese Ministry of Education Grant in 1986. His book, American Film Noir, (Hinaki Publishing Co.) is devoted to genuine American film style “film noir.” Courses he has taught include: Language of Film, Introduction to Film and Television, Films of David Lean, Film History (special topics: American Film Noir and Italian Neorealism), Masterpieces of Contemporary Turkish Cinema, Masterpieces of Contemporary Iranian Cinema, Cinema of Western Balkans, and Documentary Film.Website: www.ou.edu/class/misha/.
