Scholarships and Awards

The Multidisciplinary studies major awards three scholarships and a Outstanding Senior award each fall and spring semester.  Please see details below on eligibility and application deadlines.

 Non-Traditional Student Scholarship

Minimum Amount - $1,200, based on financial need and merit
Criteria - Applicants must be full-time undergraduate students who are older than the traditional undergraduate student. Preference is given to students returning to college who have been in the work force and who realized it would benefit them to return to college to receive a degree. Applicants must have earned a GPA of 3.25 or above and show financial need. Current recipients may reapply. An essay and interview are required. Please refer to the scholarship application instructions for information on the completion and submission of the application materials.

Bachelor of Arts degree plan Scholarship

Minimum Amount - $1,200, based on financial need and merit
Criteria - Applicants must have achieved junior or senior status and will be classified as a senior the following academic year for which the scholarship award will apply. Applicants must have a major course of study towards a Bachelor of Arts degree plan. In addition, applicants must have earned a GPA of 3.25 or above, demonstrate a plan for use of his/her education in a public service career, and show proficiency in written and oral communication. Applicants must show financial need. An essay and interview are required. Please refer to the scholarship application instructions for information on the completion and submission of the application materials.

Bachelor of Science degree plan Scholarship

Minimum Amount - $1,200, based on financial need and merit
Criteria - Applicants must have achieved junior or senior status and will be classified as a senior the following academic year for which the scholarship award will apply. Applicants must have a major course of study towards a Bachelor of Science degree plan. Applicants should have a GPA of 3.25 or above and show financial need. Current recipients may reapply. Outstanding Senior Award
